Tour of Alcatraz - Saturday, April 21st; 12:15pm - 5:15pm OR 11:50am - 5:25pm

Alcatraz, the former military fort and notorious maximum-security federal prison that housed the likes of Al Capone and Machine Gun Kelly, and the site of the Indian “Red River Movement” and Occupation from 1969-1971, offers visitors to get an up and close glimpse of life on Alcatraz Island. In addition to the historical importance of Alcatraz, visitors can view the gardens, bay views, and birds nesting.

Personal Wine Tour Guide: 
This is the best option for a more exclusive private tour. For not much more than a standard chauffeur, you can hire a personal wine guide service that arranges your tour and drives you in a luxury vehicle. All of the following companies specialize in the Napa and Sonoma County wine regions. They arrange a custom wine tasting day after speaking to you about your tastes and preferences. They also have great connections for privileged access to hard to get into boutique wineries. This is the best option in our opinion and what we do personally when we go wine tasting.

Bowers Wine Tours:
(Starting at $75 per hour plus tax, tip, and tasting fees, 5 hour minimum) – This husband and wife team specialize in small boutique wineries and create wonderful wine tasting itineraries. Peter speaks multiple languages and has written many books about Wine Country.

Farm to Table Tours are also offered through Bowers Wine Tours: 
Your host will guide you on an amazing wine and food journey, where you will experience tasting at boutique wineries, local markets, a farm to table lunch and visiting local artisans. The Farm to Table experience is for 4 – 8 guests and includes Mercedes-Benz transportation, all winery tasting fees, and a farm to table lunch.  Sonoma experience is $225 per person.  Napa experience is $255 per person. 

Ultimate Wine Tours – (Starting at $75 per hour plus tax, tip and tasting fees, 5-hour minimum):
Offers custom and unique wine tours that focus on off-the-beaten-path and small production wineries.
